Flat Tire Repair
A nail in the tread is usually repairable. A cut in the sidewall or the shoulder is not, and we will tell you which one you have rather than selling you a tire you don't need.

What the job involves
- 1Take the wheel off and find the leak properly, in a water bath, not by guessing at the hiss.
- 2Where the damage is in the repairable area, dismount the tire and fit a combination patch-plug from the inside, which seals the liner as well as the puncture.
- 3Rebalance the wheel and refit it to the correct torque.
- 4If the tire cannot be repaired safely, explain exactly why and quote you for a replacement before we go further.
When you need it
If any of these sound like your car, bring it in and we will look at it.
- A tire that keeps going soft over a few days
- A nail or screw you can see in the tread
- The TPMS light coming on repeatedly for the same wheel
- A slow leak around the rim after hitting a kerb or pothole
