Brake Fluid Flush
Brake fluid absorbs water from the air over time. Wet fluid boils at a lower temperature and corrodes the system from the inside, and a soft pedal on a long downhill is how most people find out. We test it first, so you only pay for a flush when the fluid needs one.

What the job involves
- 1Test the fluid for moisture and show you the result.
- 2Flush the old fluid through at every wheel, in the order the manufacturer sets.
- 3Refill with the fluid type your car specifies, DOT 3, DOT 4 or DOT 5.1.
- 4Bleed out any air and check the pedal before the car leaves the bay.
When you need it
If any of these sound like your car, bring it in and we will look at it.
- At the interval in your owner's manual, often every two to three years
- The pedal feels soft or sinks lower than it used to
- The fluid in the reservoir has turned dark
- After any brake work that opened the hydraulic system
